Chrysalis II

"Chrysalis." Is a painting is inspired by the incredible process of metamorphosis, where a caterpillar becomes a butterfly. In this piece, you'll see women enclosed in chrysalis cocoons, undergoing a profound transformation. The butterflies are a powerful symbol of rebirth and renewal, as these women shed their old selves and emerge as something entirely new.

Have rich textures, and tells us a story of transformation and growth. From the delicate intricacies of the chrysalis itself, to the powerful energy of the emerging butterfly, there is a sense of magic and wonder woven throughout this artwork.

“Chrysalis II” was challenging me for the complexity of the draw and it became one of my favourites pieces.
